Superfood Recipes for Weight Loss : Chia seed pudding
The chia seed can also be cooked as a dessert in a pudding, a porridge or a panacotta that will marry chia and vegetable milk (almond, soy or other).
To prepare a pudding of chia seed, it is very simple:
- The day before prepare the base of the pudding:
- 3 teaspoons of chia seeds,
- 25 cl of milk (if possible vegetable),
- one to three tablespoons of sugar, honey or agave syrup according to your taste,
- a pinch of vanilla.
- Mix it all together every 5 minutes for 15 minutes to incorporate the seeds well.
- Put in the fridge overnight to allow the mixture to set.
- The next day garnish your pudding with fresh seasonal fruit (banana, raspberry, mango etc.), and dried fruit (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts etc.).
- Make according to your taste. Enjoy it chilled, served with a fruit juice or tea.
