This ayurvedic recipe is nowadays very popular thanks to its properties and subtle taste.
In winter, golden milk helps to fight against fatigue, offers a boost of energy and brings together all the benefits of turmeric mentioned on the page presenting the benefits of turmeric.
Golden milk is a true elixir of health.
Here is the recipe:
- First make the turmeric paste: in a saucepan,
- mix 30 grams of turmeric,
- half a teaspoon of black pepper,
- 15 cl of water
- Heat over low heat for 5 to 10 minutes until you obtain a smooth and thick paste.
- Let the mixture cool down once the dough is obtained.
- Then mix 1 teaspoon of this preparation with
- 15 cl of unsweetened vegetable milk (almond, soya, rice according to your taste),
- 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
- and 1 teaspoon of honey
- Heat for 2 minutes without boiling the mixture.

Prefer spices from organic farming to benefit from the qualities of the plants and limit the absorption of more toxic substances.
You can also add other spices such as ginger or cinnamon.
Attention: turmeric stains a lot. Be careful when handling it and use a glass cup instead to avoid staining your dishes.
